GlobalOne Raises over $25M in Initial Funding from Columbia Capital

GlobalOne, a New York-based provider of Software as a Service (SaaS), social collaboration and cloud computing professional services for the enterprise, has raised more than $25m in initial funding from Columbia Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its capabilities and market coverage.

In addition, GlobalOne has appointed industry veteran David Northington as new CEO. According to a written statement, he will be responsible for helping the company capitalize on market opportunities in target verticals, embark on global expansion, develop key partnerships and identify strategic acquisitions.

Northington most recently served as COO of Capgemini in North America. Prior to Capgemini, he was Executive Vice President of Kanbay International, served as COO of Adjoined Consulting, and as CEO of Plaut Consulting.
Northington joins executive managers Dennis Wall, John Orrock and Ken Struthers.

Established in 2007, GlobalOne is a cloud solution provider providing strategy, implementation, and support services with focus on client management (CRM), cloud computing (development and strategy), and social business.
The company also has offices in Chicago, Atlanta, Sydney, Australia and Manila Philippines.
