DoubleVerify Raises $33M

DoubleVerify, a New York City-based provider of online media verification and compliance solutions, received $33m in financing.

The round was led by JMI Equity and Institutional Venture Partners (IVP), with participation from existing investors Blumberg Capital and First Round Capital.

In conjunction with the funding, Bob Nye of JMI Equity and Dennis Phelps of Institutional Venture Partners have joined the company’s Board of Directors.

This financing, which brings the total amount raised to date to $47m, will help DoubleVerify make strategic acquisitions.

Launched in 2008 and led by CEO Oren Netzer, the company provides advertisers, agencies, ad networks, DSPs, exchanges and publishers with proprietary, patent-pending technology that tracks the actual delivery of campaigns to verify that they are in compliance with the advertisers’ insertion order terms, conditions and buying guidelines.

DoubleVerify currently employs 160 people with 50 more being added to offices in New York, Israel, and London by the end of the year.
