The company intends to use funding to accelerate the development of follow-on generations of Valens’ HDBaseT chipset.

HDBaseT is optimized for video applications and can connect all entertainment devices in a setting by providing the 5Play convergence of uncompressed full HD/3D digital video, audio, 100BaseT Ethernet, power over cable and various control signals.
With offices in Israel, Japan, Hong-Kong, USA, and local representatives in Korea, Taiwan and China, the company serves ProAV equipment manufacturers and consumer electronics companies, which are currently shipping and developing HDBaseT-enabled products including displays, projectors and A/V receivers.
