Totango, a Mountain View, CA-based provider of a real-time customer usage analysis platform, has closed a $3.8m Series A financing.
The round was led by Pitango Venture Capital, with participation from existing investor Gemini.
Led by CEO and Co-Founder Guy Nirpaz, Totango also launched the public beta of its online service, which provides software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies insight into how their customers or prospects are using their services.
This customer information, which is presented within the existing CRM tools, allows sales teams to be more effective at increasing free trial conversions, lowering customer acquisition costs and increasing customer retention, renewals and upgrades.
Key features of the platform include progress tracking for opportunities, filtering and segmentation, personalized daily digest, account activity page, notifications and alerts and activity stream.
