GoPollGo Raises Seed Funding from Idealab

GoPollGo, Inc., a Palo Alto, California-based online polling service, has received a seed funding of undisclosed amount from Idealab.

The company intends to use the capital to build its development team in order to move the product forward more quickly.

Led by founder and CEO Ben Schaechter, GoPollGo introduces an interactive experience for poll creators and voters by displaying analytics in real-time using Twitter.
Users, including individuals, small businesses and big brands, can post a poll to Twitter allowing their followers to vote while gaining instant, quantitative feedback on their poll. Real-time notifications inform current users when others join the page and vote on a poll.
