Astrid Raises Seed Funding

Astrid, a San Francisco, CA-based company that develops a to-do list/productivity application on the Android platform, has raised an undisclosed sum in seed funding.

Investors include Google Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners, and angel investors including Jack Herrick.

The company is using the funds to built out its engineering team and expand to new platforms with upcoming web and iPhone versions.

Co-founded by CEO Jon Paris, and CTO Tim Su, Astrid is a to-do list/task manager featuring reminders, tags, sync, and widgets. It is designed to help individuals and small teams stay organized, and be more productive. In early 2011, the company joined the startup accelerator AngelPad.
