Arbor Plastic Technologies (APT), a Michigan-based company that formulates and manufactures patented and proprietary additives and associated delivery systems for the plastic resin industry, has received an investment of undisclosed amount from the Michigan Pre-Seed Capital Fund.
The transaction is part of a series of investments in several Michigan-based companies made by the fund, totaling more than $1.8m.
APT, which has technical and manufacturing facilities in Ohio and sales offices in Ann Arbor and Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, has developed a technology designed to increase both productivity and quality (it limits exposure to high temperatures and thermoplastic binders that are detrimental to overall quality), resulting in lower costs for customers.
