XtremIO Raises $14M in Funding

XtremIO, a Cupertino, CA- and Herzelyia, Israel-based developer of next generation storage solutions based on Solid State technology, has raised $14m in funding.

The round was led by Battery Ventures, with participation from existing investors Giza Venture Capital and Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP).

The company intends to use the funds to expand product, marketing, and sales efforts and launch its new SSD-based storage array.

Founded in 2009 and led by CEO Ehud Rokach, XtremIO provides enterprise storage solutions, which utilizes flash memory solid-state drive (SSD) technologies.
They are designed to address the growing challenges of modern IT infrastructure (including Storage and I/O performance) and to enable application acceleration, high levels of consolidation, simplified operations, and cost reduction.
