Touchstone Semiconductor Raises $12M in Series A Funding

Touchstone Semiconductor, Inc., a Milpitas, Calif.-based developer of high-performance analog integrated circuit solutions, has raised $12m in Series A funding.

Investors include Opus Capital and Khosla Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to advance research and development activities, and expand marketing and sales efforts.

Founded in 2010 and led by president and CEO Brett Fox, Touchstone Semiconductor has introduced its first products during the past three months. It also added Cathal Phelan, CTO at Cypress Semiconductor Corp. and a 25-year semiconductor industry expert, to its board of directors.
