Streetline Completes $15M Series B Financing

Streetline, Inc., a San Francisco, Calif.-based provider of a suite of sensor-enabled mobile and web-based smart city and smart parking solutions, has completed a $15m Series B financing.

The round was co-led by Fontinalis Partners and RockPort Capital Partners, with participation from existing investor Sutter Hill Ventures.

Streetline intends to use the funds to further expand its solutions in the USA and abroad investing in people, infrastructure, and systems.

In conjunction with the funding, Ralph Booth, founding partner, Fontinalis Partners, and Victor Westerlind, general partner, RockPort Capital Partners, joined Zia Yusuf, president and CEO, Streetline, and Jim White, managing director, Sutter Hill Ventures, on the company’s board.

Streetline provides a real-time consumer parking app (Parker™) that enables motorists to find and pay for available parking based on location, time limit and price. The company’s patented smart parking platform detects the presence of a car through a network of ultra-low power wireless sensors located in individual parking spaces. Streetline has parking deployments in California, Maryland, New York, Texas, Utah and Washington, D.C.

The Parker app is available on the Android Market or the iTunes Store.
