LeapSky Wireless, a Singapore-based company that provides 3G/Wifi based mobile data services, has received funding One97 Communications Limited.
The company intends to use the funds to launch its initial product. Incubated at Singapore Management University Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and led by founder Siva Sai N, LeapSky will offer a patent-pending personal mobile hotspot product and service that will allow its customers access mobile data globally in an extremely easy and cost effective method.
Based in New Delhi, India and led by Chairman and Managing Director Vijay Shekhar Sharma, One97 Communications provides telecom applications and services in emerging markets. It is backed by investors such as Intel Capital, SAIF Partners and Silicon Valley Bank.
