Karmarama, a London, UK-based independent marketing services business, has received a strategic investment of undisclosed amount from Phoenix Equity Partners.
Phoenix has backed the company’s existing management team, which include Ben Bilboul, Nicola Mendelsohn, Sid McGrath and Dave Buonaguidi, alongside Charles Watson, who will join as Chairman, and Adam Silver, who will have responsibility for corporate development.
Founded in 2000, Karmarama is an independent creative agency with associate companies including Kream, a production agency specializing in the production of TV commercials and branded digital content, and Kaper, a provider of consumer-focused communications services.
It serves clients such as Nintendo, Coca Cola, Lastminute.com, BBC, Costa and Unilever.
