Hyper Wear Inc., an Austin, Texas-based company that creates innovative products for sports performance training, fitness, physical education and health, has received a growth equity investment of undisclosed amount.
Participants in the funding include members of the Central Texas Angel Network (CTAN), Concho Valley Angel Network (CVAN), Baylor Angel Network (BAN), Joel Trammell and William E. Simon, Jr. In conjunction with the transaction, Mr. Trammell will take a seat on the company’s board, with Craig Harris, CFO of Wild Basin Investment, LLC.
Led by CEO Denver Fredenburg, Hyper Wear currently sells its solutions in in 20 countries with plans to double its international presence. The products include the Hyper Vest® PRO weight vest, Hyper Vest COOL™ ice vest for pre-cooling and recovery, SandBell® sandbag weights, SteelBell® steel shot-filled weights, and WaterBell™ water-filled weights.
Hyper Wear will use the funds to expand its brand and product portfolio, create digital educational training content, and organize live workshops.
