The Green Life Guides, LLC, a New Haven, CT-based company that operates the Green Bride Guide, an online web site for green wedding ideas, products, and services, recently received an early stage financing of undisclosed amount.
Investors include Advantage Capital and Ironwood Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand including baby showers and additional life-cycle events.
Founded in 2009 by CEO Kate Harrison, The Green Life Guide offers resources for eco-friendly wedding ideas, product and services. The site features real green wedding stories, an Eco-Chic Style blog, Green Gift Shop and Registry, and a directory of approved green vendors.
