Billing Revolution Receives Strategic Investment from Citi Ventures

Billing Revolution, a Seattle and San Francisco-based mobile payments provider, has received a strategic investment from Citi Ventures, a unit of global financial services company Citigroup.

Citi Ventures has joined DCM and SK Telecom Ventures, which recently invested $6.6m in Series B funding (read the news). The round will enable the company to hire marketing, business development and product staff.

Led by founder and CEO Andy Kleitsch, Billing Revolution provides a “Single Click Checkout” that allows mobile users to purchase digital and physical items globally across all mobile operating systems (Apple, Android, Symbian, RIM, WP7, Bada, webOS) from carriers, mobile OEM’s, game publishers, mobile app store operators and developers, merchants and retailers.
It supports credit cards, debit cards, P2P, stored value cards, ACH, and Amazon.
