Wicoms Wireless Limited, a London, UK-based WiFi Service Provider, has been acquired by Auster Capital Partners.
With the transaction, whose amount remained undisclosed, MLC 50 LP, a London-based private investment advisory partnership focused on early stage investments in the Media, Life & Communications sectors, will become a shareholder of the company.
Wicoms Wireless, which was a wholly owned subsidiary of Wicoms Limited prior to the sale, specializes in the deployment, operation, and management of enterprise and business sponsored public hotspots.
Established in 2007, the company has served clients including British Land, Reading FC and the Camping and Caravanning Club.
