Tripwire, Inc., a Portland, Oregon-based global provider of IT Security and Compliance Automation solutions, has been acquired by private equity investment firm Thoma Bravo, LLC.
Following the transaction, whose financial details were not disclosed, the company’s current CEO, Jim Johnson, will remain in place to continue to expand the business.
Through its IT security and compliance automation solutions, Tripwire help businesses, government agencies, and service providers take control of their physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructure.
The company has over 5,700 customers in 94 countries and currently employs approximately 350 people in its offices in London, Singapore, and Tokyo.
