Conversocial Raises £1.5M in Series A Funding from DFJ Esprit

Conversocial, a London, UK-based Social media management software company, has raised £1.5m in series A funding from venture capital firm DFJ Esprit.

The company intends to use the funds to expand the company’s sales and marketing efforts, both in Europe and the US, as well as develop the product further.
Conversocial provides a Software as a Service software that allows businesses to increase engagement and manage interactions with customers through social platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. It features engagement analytics and comprehensive comment management tools.

Launched in July 2010 by CEOJoshua March,Conversocial is used by customers including ITV, Mediacom, Tupperware and Groupon.

In conjunction with the funding, Nic Brisbourne, partner at DFJ Esprit, will join the company’s board as non-executive director.
