stylefruits GmbH, a Munich, Germany-based social fashion site, has raised a “medium seven-figure sum” in equity financing, according to a written statement.
The round was led by Vorwerk Direct Selling Ventures, an independent investment entity within the Vorwerk Group, with participation from Creathor Venture.
The company intends to use the new capital to strengthen its market position and expand abroad.
Founded at the end of 2008 by CEO Ingo Heinrich, Michael Vietze and Mathias Ziegler, stylefruits.de features the latest fashion trends (with styling tips generated by the users themselves) and products from the portal’s shop partners.
According to the company, over one million outfits recommendations have already been created by stylefruits’ user base.
