Mobile Spinach Raises $1M in Venture Capital Funding

Mobile Spinach, a San Mateo, CA-based mobile local commerce platform, has raised $1m in venture capital funding.
The round was led by Blumberg Capital, with participation from Quest Ventures and Launch Capital.
Led by co-founder and CEO Antonio Vitti, Mobile Spinach is a mobile web-based platform embedded in third-party mobile smartphone apps and websites. 
The company allows users to purchase discounted offers that can be spent at their favorite local restaurants, clothing stores and salons. 
Mobile Spinach has relationships with thousands of merchants in 611 cities in the USA.
The company intends to use the funds to continue developing the platform and expand its partnerships with local merchants and mobile and app publishers.
