MEDomics, LLC, an Azusa, CA-based provider of sequence-based DNA diagnostic testing, has received a growth capital investment from exisiting investor SpaGus Ventures LLC.
MEDomics intends to use the funding to advance its tests for mitochondrial disease diagnosis (MitoDx and MitoNucleomeDx).
In addition, Gary Augusta will become COO, join the company’s Board.
Founded in 2008 by President Dr. Steve Sommer, MEDomics is a molecular diagnostic laboratory that provides Mutation Expert-based Diagnosis (“MED”) to support physicians in delivering personalized medicine based on analysis of the patient’s genome.
