Bessemer Venture Partners Closes Venture Capital Fund at $1.6BN

Global investment firm Bessemer Venture Partners closed its 8th venture capital fund at $1.6bn.
Bessemer Venture Partners VIII, which received support from existing limited partners and new university endowments, corporations and family offices, will invest in innovative, high-growth companies across multiple industries and geographies.
The firm, which actively invests in North America, India, Israel, Europe and Latin America, expects to focus roughly a quarter of the new fund in India where it opened an office seven years ago. 
Vishal Gupta, Siddharth Nautiyal and Subramanya “Subu” S.V. currently operate in Mumbai. 
In addition to India, Bessemer Venture Partners has offices in Silicon Valley, Cambridge, Mass., New York, and Herzliya, Israel.
