SnagAJob.com, a Richmond, VA-based online community of hourly workers and a provider of hourly workforce management solutions, has secured $27m in Series C funding. The round was led by August Capital, with participation from Adams Street Partners, Baird Venture Partners and C&B Capital.
This brings the total amount the company has raised to date to $14m.
SnagAJob.com intends to use the new capital to expand its product portfolio, intensify marketing efforts and increase the size of its sales team.
In conjunction with the funding, Eric Carlborg, will join SnagAJob’s board of directors.
Clients include DISH Network®, Captain D’s®, Verizon Wireless®, FedEx®, Chick-fil-A®, Bed Bath & Beyond®, Michaels® and Jiffy Lube®.
Founded in 2000 by CEO Shawn Boyer, SnagAJob.com is an online community of hourly workers—and a provider of workforce management solutions in a wide range of industries. The company currently operates roughly 210 employees.
