SignNow Raises $500K

SignNow, a Newport Beach, CA-based technology startup that offers tools to e-sign digital files without the need to scan, fax or mail documents, has secured $500,000 in seed funding from different investors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its marketing efforts for a new service to be launched in April 2011 and designed to provide small business owners, professionals and people who need seeking to add their signature to an electronic document.

The company is led by CEO Christopher Hawkins, who has launched a book entitled: “A History of Signatures: From Cave Paintings to Robo-Signings” in conjunction with the funding.
