Glamorous Travel £100K Equity Investment

Glamorous Travel, a Manchester, UK-based tour operator that specializes in providing tailor-made special interest tour packages and programmes for Chinese nationals visiting Britain and continental Europe, has received a £100k equity investment.
The financing was provided by North West Fund for Venture Capital, which is managed by Enterprise Ventures (EV).
The company intends to use the funding to expand the business taking the advantage of the Chinese inbound tourism market, which is rapidly growing.

Founded in May 2010 by Yan Zhang, Glamorous Travel consists of a team of bilingual travel professionals who have knowledge, connections and experience of the Chinese tourist market. The company has a branch office in Guang Zhou province, China.

The North West Fund for Venture Capital was established to provide debt and equity funding (from £50,000 to £2m) to small and medium sized enterprises based in, or relocating to, the North West of England.
It is financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) under the European Commission’s Joint European Resources for Micro to Medium Enterprises Initiative (JEREMIE).
