United Seating & Mobility, a nationwide provider of complex rehabilitation products including custom power and manual wheelchairs for disabled adults and children, has received a growth capital investment of undisclosed amount from LLR Partners.
LLR is partnering with the existing management team to help the company fund its organic growth and future acquisitions.
Founded in 2001 and led by CEO Bob Gouy, United Seating & Mobility has grown to 36 locations in 20 states. The company provides seating and mobility solutions for individuals with disabilities including power and manual wheelchairs, custom seating, patient transfer lifts, standing frames, home medical equipment, medical mattresses, and sports activity products. United Seating & Mobility is also dedicated to excellent customer service including seating and mobility assessments, equipment trials, simulations and reimbursement assistance.
In conjunction with the investment, Howard Ross, a Partner at LLR, will join the company’s board.
