Sprout Social, a Chicago, IL-based provider of social media management tools for business, completed a $10m in Series B venture funding.
The round was led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA).
The company intends to use the funds for business development and product strategy.
Led by CEO Justyn Howard, Sprout Social provides business customers (particularly small and local businesses) with a platform to manage customer relationships and new customer engagement across Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, LinkedIn and others from a single interface.
Features include cross-network reading/posting, contact management, brand monitoring, message scheduling, reporting and analytics, location targeting and more.
The company recently received Series A funding from Lightbank.
