Lazio Region (Italy) has launched a €40m public/private venture capital fund.
The neh vehicle will focus on investing in start ups and small and medium sized businesses operating in the region in sectors including aerospace, biosciences, Chemical & Pharma, media and turism.
The fund aims to make about 30 investments with a maximum amount of each operation not exceeding €1,5.
Lazio Region, which already committed €20m, has also launched a call for interest for private co-investors to participate in the fund.
