Luxury Fashion Trade GmbH, a German operator of www.fashionette.de, an online retailer for luxury handbags, has raised a €1.5m in equity funding.
The round was led by NRW.BANK, with participation from Sirius Venture Partners and Astutia Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand internationally, especially in the UK and Switzerland, and further improve the buyer online experience.
A comprehensive relaunch of the web site is expected shortly.
Founded in 2008 by CEO Fabio Labriola, Ronald Reschke and Dr. Sebastian Siebert, www.fashionette.de sells handbags, evening gowns, jewelry and sun glasses. Each week, new and classic articles from a selection of over 60 top designers is available.
