protected-networks.com, a Berlin, Germany-based company that develops integrated solutions for access rights management of server environments across all business sectors and at public authorities, has received a financing of “several millions” euros from Milestone Venture Capital.
The company intends to use the proceeds from the investment to further develop its national and international sales and client support structure.
Founded in 2009, and led by CEO Stephan Brack, Protected-networks.com intends to continue its international expansion in 2011, mainly in Europe and Asia.
The company’s 8MAN, which is based on an innovative approach to integrated data security management, offers uniform and automated management of user rights.
The software, whose Version 3.0 has recently been released, is designed to provide clients a way to save cost and time while increasing protection against unauthorised internal access.
German clients include Atotech Deutschland GmbH, Nuremberg airport, Justus-Liebig University in Giessen and the Ostalbkreis rural district office.
