Komli Media Raises $15M in Funding

Komli Media, a Mumbai, India-based digital media network, has raised $15m in funding.
The round was led by Norwest Venture Partners (NVP), with participation from existing investors Nexus Venture Partners and Helion Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the capital to expand throughout India and across key markets in Asia Pacific. In addition, the company will further invest in its two core businesses – the Digital Media Network and the Audience Measurement unit.
In 2010, Komli Media acquired PostClick, an Australia-based site representation firm and Indoor Media. a UK ethnic ad network.
Led by founder & CEO Amar Goel, , Komli Media has developed a digital media network representing more than 2,000 websites, including Facebook, Babycenter and Bloomberg. The company also owns and operates ViziSense, an Indian online audience and ad measurement platform, which is now being launched in Australia.
In conjunction with the funding, Niren Shah, Managing Director, NVP India, joins Komli Media’s board of directors.
The company also has offices in London, Melbourne, New Delhi, New York, Palo Alto, Singapore, Sydney and Toronto.
