Index Publications LLC, a San Francisco-based independent provider of news, analysis and events in the exchange-traded fund space, has closed an investment round of undisclosed amount. The group of investors includes Charter Financial Publishing Network, Credit Suisse and Bendigo Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its offerings in the field of ETF analytics and data, and to accelerate its growth in Europe.
Founded in 2001 by CEO Jim Wiandt, Index Publications operates different publications in the field of ETFs and index-related investments, including
– IndexUniverse.com, a website for in-depth ETF news and analysis.
– IndexUniverse.eu, an ETF-related investment website in Europe.
– Exchange-Traded Funds Report (ETFR), a prominent ETF newsletter.
– Journal of Indexes (JOI), a book of record for the index and index fund industry.
The company, which also provides conferences and events in the ETF space, is majority-owned by its managing partners.
