Extrusion Dies Industries, LLC (EDI), a Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin-based designer and manufacturer of extrusion dies and coating heads for plastic processors and web converters, has received a private equity financing of undisclosed amount from Bertram Capital.
As also stated by John Ulcej, President of EDI, Bertram Capital will help the company accelerate growth in their core business.
EDI designs and manufactures extrusion dies, coating heads and related products for producers of cast film, sheet, coatings and laminates. The company’s customers serve a variety of end markets, including plastic packaging, building products, consumer goods, electronics, medical and alternative energy.
Founded in 1971, EDI has manufacturing operations in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; Reichshof-Wehnrath, Germany; and Shanghai, China, and an extensive network of agents providing comprehensive sales and technical support throughout the world.
