SensorLogic Raises $5M in Funding

SensorLogic, Inc., a Boston, MA-based service delivery platform provider for machine-to-machine (M2M) applications, has raised $5m in additional funding from existing investors.
The round was led by Sevin Rosen Funds and Boston Millennia Partners, with participation from existing investors UPS Strategic Enterprise Fund and Covera Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand sales and marketing efforts as well as increase the size of the delivery and operations teams. 
Led by President and CEO, Michael Campbell, the company provides solution providers, wireless network operators, system integrators, original equipment manufacturers and enterprise IT organizations with its cloud-based Service Delivery Platform with delivers M2M-as-a-Service that is designed to connect mobile devices, assets and resources to people and business systems.
SensorLogic also named Brian Alton as CFO. Mr. Alton brings over 20 years of diverse financial and operational leadership experience in technology and entrepreneurial firms, including start-ups, high-growth and turnaround companies. Prior to SensorLogic, Alton was CFO at RipCode, Ignite Technologies, Tango Networks and Cyneta Networks.
The company also operates an office in Plano, TX.
