Bio-Intervention Specialists, an Englewood, Colorado-based disinfection service provider dedicated to reducing the incidence and cost of hospital-acquired infections, has closed a third round of financing.
Investors include existing and new shareholders.
The financing, whose amount remained undisclosed, was oversubscribed by 37.5% and represents an increase in company valuation of 250%.
The company has completed the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registration process for the Electro-BioCide disinfectant utilized in its hospital disinfection services.
Bio-Intervention Specialists, a dba of Aion Partners LLC, is owned by its founders and employees, physicians, senior executives in the healthcare sector, and other private investors. The founder and CEO is Tom Boyer, who has almost 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector.
