Zetta Raises $11.5M in Second Funding Round

Zetta, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based enterprise cloud storage provider, has raised $11.5m in its second round of funding.
Both existing investors Foundation Capital and Sigma Partners participated.This brings the total funding to $22.5m.
The new capital will be used to expand sales and marketing and to further product development.
Zetta offers offsite data backup and protection and storage solutions for enterprises of all sizes. Its Storage Service is compatible with existing on-premise storage systems and integrates with existing IT workflows. 
The company serves enterprise customers from different industries including legal services, education, business services, financial services, media and entertainment, as well as software and technology.
Zetta was established in 2007 by serial entrepreneurs and technology executives from companies such as Netscape, VeriSign, Symantec, EMC, and Shutterfly.
