Welocalize Receives $34M Investment from Riverside Partners

Welocalize, a Frederick, Maryland-based provider of global translation supply chain management solutions, has received a $34m investment from Riverside Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to support growth initiatives including investment in technology systems and potential add-on acquisitions.
Founded in 1997, Welocalize employs over 400 people in 9 offices located in the USA, Ireland, Germany, China, and Japan.
The company provides clients including Autodesk, Inc.., Canon, Cisco Systems, Computer Associates,  IBM, Microsoft, Sun and Symantec, with globalization consulting, translation, localization, testing solutions and enterprise translation management tools that are optimized to be able to deliver on-demand translation in over 100 languages.
Its flagship solution is GlobalSight, a collaborative, open-source Translation Management System (TMS).
