Vascular Pathways Closes $14M Series B Financing

Vascular Pathways Inc., a Los Altos, Calif.-based medical device company with an innovative product for peripheral intravenous access, has closed a $14m Series B equity financing round.
The round was led by CHL Medical Partners, with participation from Ascension Health Ventures, MVM Life Science Partners and Arcus Ventures.
In conjunction with the financing, Dr. Myles Greenberg of CHL, Dr. Walter Lin of AHV and Dr. Stephen Reeders of MVM have joined Vascular Pathways’ board of directors.
The funds will be used to commercialize the company’s U.S. Food and Drug Administration cleared Rapid Intravascular Start (RIVS) IV catheter.
Vascular Pathways was founded by Amir Belson, M.D..
