IPTEGO, a Berlin, Germany-based supplier of Next Generation Network optimization software, received an equity financing of undisclosed amount from Intel Capital.
The company intends to use the new capital to further accelerate its growth in the United States and into Asia. The investment is a second closing of its first institutional investment round led by XAnge Private Equity.
IPTEGO’s flagship solution, the PALLADION Software Suite, is designed to allow Communication Service Providers to make the customer experience measurable. It analyzes Next Generation Networks from any vendor to provide real-time network intelligence, troubleshooting, customer experience monitoring and smooth integration of third-party products. According to the company, with PALLADION, operators can migrate to IP-based networks and reduce operational costs.
The software works with any NGN deployment operated by mobile and fixed line carriers worldwide.
Ulrich Abend, IPTEGO Co-Founder and COO, said: “Intel Capital’s investment will allow us to faster penetrate global markets and thereby ensure rapid growth”.
