Intimate Bridge to Conception, Inc., a Pittsburgh, PA-based newly formed medical device company focused on reproductive health to aid in natural fertility and conception in the privacy of the patient’s home, has received $475k in equity funding.
The funds were provide by the Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse, and Innovation Works, which committed $275,000 and $200,000, respectively.
Launched in September by Stephen Bollinger, the founder and CEO, Ib2C provides healthcare products that will assist women and couples in reaching their reproductive goals. Its lead technology, Focus Touch™ is a take-home, conception aid system designed to have similar results to Interauterine insemination (IUI).
The proceeds from the investment will be used to help the company bring its product to market.
