Convo Communications Receives $500,000 Line of Credit from Bridge Bank

Convo Communications, a San Ramon, CA-based provider of 24/7 video relay services (VRS), which enables deaf and hard of hearing people who use sign language to convo with hearing people over the phone, has received a $500,000 line of credit from Bridge Bank, National Association, a subsidiary of Bridge Capital Holdings (NASDAQ: BBNK).
The company intends to use the proceeds from the financing to make capital purchases and spending as to scale its operations.
Founded in March 2009, Convo recently launched its cloud-based application Convo Anywhere. The company’s services are designed to allow deaf and hard of hearing people civic and consumer participation and can be accessed via web browser, videophone or instant messenger.
