Bright Computing Receives Investment from ING Corporate Investments

Bright Computing, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based provider of cluster management software for high-performance computing (HPC), has received an investment of undisclosed amount from ING Corporate Investments.
With the investment, ING Corporate Investments, a subsidiary of ING, has acquired a minority stake in the company.
Bright Computing intends to use the new capital to further expand its reseller network worldwide and its direct sales capabilities in the US, as well as fund continued product development. The company has its US headquarters in San Jose, California.
Bright Computing’s flagship product – Bright Cluster Manage – is designed to make clusters, including systems combining Intel/AMD processors with NVIDIA and other GPU technology, easy to install, use and manage.It is used by research institutes, universities, and companies across the world.
