Zimory, a Berlin, Germany-based cloud start up, has secured €4m in funding.
The round was led by Creathor Venture, High-Tech Gruenderfonds and VC Fonds Technologie Berlin, managed by IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft, T-Venture and KFW.
In conjunction with the funding, Ruediger Baumann has been appointed as the new CEO of Zimory with the task to help the company expand its sales and marketing efforts. Baumann, who brings 30 years of experience in the IT and telecommunication market, has served in various management positions in many large enterprises and startup companies.
At Zimory, he will manages a strong management team, which include Maximilian Ahrens, CPO and founder, and Gustavo Alonso, CTO.

The company’s Cloud Manager enables enterprise companies, communication service providers and partners to offer dynamic IT infrastructure services for the enterprise environment.
