Wish Upon A Hero (WUAH), a Voorhees, N.J.-based online social network designed to connect people in need with those who want to help, has received a “significan investment from Capsalus Corp. (OTCBB:WELL), an Atlanta-based public holding company operating in the health, wellness and goodness space.
The proceeds from the investment will provide operating capital and strategic support to maximize WUAH’s reach, growth potential and overall business performance.
Launched in 2007, WUAH was conceived by marketing executive Dave Girgenti to allow “wishers” to post their personal needs online while “heroes” respond to grant the wishes. According to a press release, more than 65,000 “wishes” have been granted to date.
WUAH joins Capsalus’ current portfolio of companies across the consumer products, media and technology, biotechnology and healthcare industry spectrum, including White Hat Brands and PanTheryx.
