The Böhner-EH GmbH, a Burghaslach, Germany-based company that has developed an electric-hydrostatic drive (EHD) that is designed to combine the benefits of electric and hydraulic systems, has received a start up financing of undisclosed amunt from High-Tech-Gründerfonds and Bayern Kapital.
The new capital will enable the company to advance product development and to enter into cooperative arrangements with international partners.
The company’s electric-hydrostatic drive, which was invented by Kai Böhner, has applications in machinery and plant engineering, traffic technology as well as renewable energy technology.
The company was founded by special machinery engineers.
