Rockabox Media, a London, UK-based creator and provider of content-related and social-media marketing opportunities for brands, advertisers and publishers, has secured Series A financing of undisclosed amount from Frog Capital.
The funds will enable the company to enhance its innovative Shutters video technology and Viewshare online content distribution platform.
In conjunction with the funding, Frog Capital Partner, Mike Reid, will join the company’s board.
The company, which was founded in 2008 by technology entrepreneur James Booth and TV executive Torie Chilcott, specializes in delivering engaging cross-media entertainment formats that are supported by a marketing methodology and an innovative technology platform that enables effective tracking across personal computers, smart phones and tablet formats.
