iCiX Raises $6M in Series B Funding Round

iCiX, Inc., a San Mateo, CA-based web based network for analyzing supply chain risk and managing supplier information, has raised $6m in a series B funding.
The round was led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, with participation from Starfish Ventures.
The capital will allow the company to accelerate product development, sales and marketing, expanding their reach and impact on the supply chain industry.
The iCiX network is used by retailers, manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers globally to manage the exchange of validated information between buyers and suppliers. It is designed to provide an affordable solution for managing recalls, corrective actions, validate certifications, products, and test results.
According to the company, more than 70,000 facilities are already using its system, including 6 of the top 10 retailers and 82 of the top 100 food companies, to share, verify, exchange quality and compliance information across the supply chain.
