Hydro4GE Raises $35,000 from

Hydro4GE, Inc., a Scranton, PA-based provider of a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) that offers the ability to develop highly complex and adaptable software systems using an online environment, has raised $35,000 from The Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania (BFTP/NEP).

The company will use the funds to complete product beta testing, licensing documentation, and branding necessary for full release of its new Online-Development-Environment (ODE) software tool, which is designed to deliver substantial programmer productivity gains, rapid application prototyping, and ongoing support efficiencies.

Hydro4GE, which was conceived and developed by the team at Software Engineering Associates, Inc. (SEA), is located in the business incubator at the Scranton Enterprise Center. The team also includes SEA employees as well as involvement from The University of Scranton and Misericordia University faculty members.
