Greener Expressions, LLC, a Pittsburgh, PA-based developer of technology, systems, and promotional platforms for building green communities and businesses, has raised seed funding from undisclosed sources.
The company, which provides tools to be used by consumers, businesses, non-profits, and government entities for aggregating, evaluating, and promoting healthier, sustainable businesses, organizations, and communities, has also added James D’Arcangelo to its team in order to execute business development and marketing strategy.
Prior to Greener Expressions, Mr. D’Arcangelo has served at Aria Systems, Synygy, Traffic.com and Media Metrix.
The company is currently driving Greener Pittsburgh, a local initiative designed to provide a first stop for citizens and businesses interested in finding greener businesses, organizations, and causes.
