Carbonflow Closes $4.2M Venture Capital Round

Carbonflow Corp., a San Francisco, CA-based provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications for managing carbon reduction projects under the Kyoto Protocol’s Clean Development Mechanism and regional, state, and voluntary programs, has closed a $4.2m Series B round of venture funding.

The round was led by OVP Venture Partners, with participation from @Ventures and Clean Pacific Ventures.
The new capital will be used to expand the company’s global sales presence and accelerate the release of new software products and services.
Carbon reduction projects projects typically involve multiple decision makers from different continents and collaborators including local developers, government agencies, development banks, auditors, corporate buyers, and other constituents. Carbonflow’s SaaS is designed to increase efficiency, transparency, security, and timeliness of project management.
Carbonflow has offices in San Francisco, Sydney and Zurich.
